Slimming World is known for having so many different items of food that you can eat with low syns or no syns at all.
Often lunch time is where you find the highest syns with lots of bread, creamy sauces and carbs everywhere!
I went to the gym this morning and stocked up for next week on a four items all under 3 syns each.
First things first Batchelor's Pasta 'n' Sauce which if you follow me on Instagram you will know is one of my absolute go to, quick fix lunches. I think I have had it most days this week. Anyway...In the supermarket today I found these and they are only 1.5 syns. SYN HEAVEN. They are great because you don't need to add anything else other than hot water and they taste the same as the packets.
They are limited in options though as there was only this flavour and the chicken and mushroom one on the shelves. The chicken and mushroom pot was also 1.5 syns.
On the Slimming World Lifeline Online there is another options but maybe they haven't quite made their way to my area yet.
At 305g a pot once made up I thought 1.5 syns was great!
They are not only a syn bargain but they are a value bargain too...these beauties were only £1.00 for the pack! If you wanted to fill them out a little more, get some Bernard Matthews turkey pieces which are usually less than £1.00. It will fill you up too so you don't get those afternoon cravings and hunger pangs.
Now the two John West 'Light Lunch' Tuna packs were something I had never fancied the look of before but at 2 for £3 I couldn't say no.
I tried the Thai Style Salmon Salad (220g pot) and the Mexican Style Tuna Salad (220g pot). Both were really tasty especially the Thai one. They are a must purchase.
The John West's Thai Style Salmon Salad came in at 2 syns for the whole pot which was brilliant for a quick grab as you go lunch. As for the Mexican Style Tuna Salad this was only 2.5 and so again if you are in a rush it is definitely a cheap option on both syns and value for money.
Does anyone else have any 'go to' low syn and value for money lunch options?
