Five ways to enjoy Slimming World and be organised

Being on a diet isn’t always the best way to feel good about yourself, often it can be really challenging and make you feel down if you aren’t achieving the results you want to achieve. However, for me Slimming World has become about having fun whilst trying to lose weight. Finding things that you enjoy doing to keep you on track is definitely the way forward. Slimming World is very different to the way other diets work as for a start the moment you walk into group, you are told Slimming World isn’t a diet – it’s a lifestyle change. I have come up with five ways that I use to enjoy Slimming World in other ways than just eating. Plan If you love stationery and getting organised as much as me the Slimming World opens up new ways to track your food with an abundance of different planning/ tracking organisers. Often, Slimming World will give away free four-week planners at the beginning of the year, but I love using prettier ones that help me stay on track. It’s al

Five tips on getting back on track with Slimming World after a break

I always find that when I have been on holiday it takes me a while to get back into Slimming World. I also really struggled to start Slimming World. I didn’t see results until after six months however, I didn’t put any weight back on – after nine weddings last year, a few incredible holidays I am surprised that didn’t happen but if I hadn’t been following the slimming world plan then I would have piled the weight back on. With holiday season well underway, I wanted to share my tips on getting back on track SP Days I actually have to go cold turkey – having a few SP days in the week really gets me focused and back on track. It means I have a week the week after to really look forward to eating pasta and jacket potatoes.  Planning You may have seen on my Instagram account that I love  planning. My organiser by Amelia Lane which I bought from Not On The High Street really helps me in organising my life. It has your monthly planner in there, to-do list etc but the best part

Slimming World - off plan for Christmas

I am writing this partly because I feel for the first time in a long time that it is okay not to eat on plan every day! I have been fluctuating between 1/2 a stone loss since March and I can't push it any further. I am not going to over indulge but I am going to eat what I want if I am out for tea with friends. I am not going to punish myself over Christmas because that's what I am supposed to do. Why is everyone being so hard on themselves? I have made the decision to start from scratch in January. It is a good time to get yourself back on plan! I have put together 5 steps which I think will help me back on plan. 1. Weighing myself on 23rd December - Once I know how much I need to lose before the year ends it will make me all the more determined to go out and get it done. 2. Writing a food diary and keeping my Lifeline online up to date as much as possible. This will help because I can see what I am eating and where I am going wrong. 3. Exercising 3 times per

Calling all Slimming World chocoholics!

I seriously cannot believe what I am bout to tell you is only one syn! I was flicking through Instagram a few weeks ago as you do, looking for inspiration for low syn chocolate things. I have come across the answer in my scrolling!! Brace yourselves. It is home made Ferrero Rocher ® . They are extremely cheap to make too as you only need two ingredients and well, if you read my blog often enough you will know that being cheap and lazy are two things I love to include in my diet plans! So all you need is the following: 5 x Ryvita ® Original or Dary Rye Crispbreads 2 x Tablespoon of Nutella My method was to simply place the 5 Ryvita® into a plastic sadwich bag and crush them into the smallest bits possible.  In a microwavable bowl i put 2 - 3 tablespoons of Nutella into the microwave for 20 seconds just to melt it slightly.  Once that had been done I put the Ryvita ® into the bowl and mixed everything together.  I placed the mixture into to mini cupcake holders on a

Five Breakfast Tips to save you time and money on Slimming World

Does anyone else find it difficult to plan for breakfast? I certainly do, especially when I know I could have that extra five, ten or even half an hour in bed. A lot of people I know take so much time prepping and let's face it, quite often we really do not want to do it. Over the past 10 months since I started slimming world, I have come up with some really quick and easy ways to manage my breakfast and not make it boring. I am also saving for a house so I really do not want to be spending all my hard earned cash on breakfast food every day. I need things I can buy in bulk and not have to spend a single penny. 1. Breakfast in a cup. If you follow me on Instagram you will know I have this a lot. It is something I found on the Slimming World website and is a life saver. It takes no more than five minutes to prep and make and I am probably being overly cautious on the time barriers here! You will need: 1 x Egg 1 x Mug 2 x Slices of wafer thin ham chopped 1 x Mushroom chopp

Slimming world lunches on a budget

Slimming World is known for having so many different items of food that you can eat with low syns or no syns at all. Often lunch time is where you find the highest syns with lots of bread, creamy sauces and carbs everywhere! I went to the gym this morning and stocked up for next week on a four items all under 3 syns each. First things first Batchelor's Pasta 'n' Sauce which if you follow me on Instagram you will know is one of my absolute go to, quick fix lunches. I think I have had it most days this week. Anyway...In the supermarket today I found these and they are only 1.5 syns. SYN HEAVEN. They are great because you don't need to add anything else other than hot water and they taste the same as the packets. They are limited in options though as there was only this flavour and the chicken and mushroom one on the shelves. The chicken and mushroom pot was also 1.5 syns. On the Slimming World Lifeline Online there is another options but maybe they haven&#
